Aran and Whyrd formed Lunar Aurora in December of the year 1994. Shortly after Biil and Nathaniel completed the ranks.

In October 1995 Lunar Aurora recorded their first demo, called "A Wandering Winterdream Beneath The Cold Moon". This demo was released in November 1995 in a limited edition of 100 copies.

In February 1996 the studio was entered again to record their second demo entitled "Auf Dunklen Schwingen". This demo helped a lot to spread the band's name around in the underground and caught the attention of the new German label Voices Productions, who signed the band straight away.

Both demos are completely sold out by now! In August 1996 Lunar Aurora went into the studio to record their debut album “Welteng
